Bienvenidos, pase adelante!

My name is Ana Gonzalez. I have been working with clay since 1995. I began at a small studio in Hudson County, NJ and since then I have worked and learned from potters in California, New Jersey, France, Africa, Mexico and my beautiful country of El Salvador. I am grateful to every one of my teachers who along the way have contributed to my growth and love for the craft. Over the years I have drawn my inspiration from folk art and the craft potter traditions. It is the simple, down to earth and sincere creativity of the craft potter and folk artist that inspires every aspect of my work. This is the feeling I try to convey through clay.  I am fortunate to now share my passion by teaching pottery classes at my cozy little studio in Union City NJ.
